The Rawhiti Domain Board met last evening, the Mayor of New Brighton. Mr J. H. Shaw, presiding. The New Brighton Ladies’ Hockey Club wrote applying for the sole use of the hockey field in the domain for the season. The arrangement for the use of the ground only every alternate Saturday proving unsatisfactory. The New Brighton Association Football Club also wrote applying for .the use of a playing ground in the domain. The club was willing to pay £5 if they could have the use of the ground every Saturday. It was decided that the two clubs could have the use of ground in the domain on alternate Saturdays. It was resolved that the sports committee go into the question of extending the .playing grounds in the domain.
