SARRON-DONOVAN FIGHT TO BE SHOWN AT CIVIC.
When Pete Sarron and Tommy Donovan met at New Plymouth a week age they provided one of the hardest battles ever seen in New Zealand, and much comment was caused throughout the length and breadth of the Dominion when it was known that the referee, Mr Dick Meale, had ruled the American out on a foul. Some critics declared that the referee had lost his head and that the decision was not a correct one. taken of the whole proceedings, the more sober-minded critics decided to leave f'm*th«r comments until after the film was developed and screened. This has now been completed and the film was screened in Auckland and Wellington on Saturday and will commence a season at the Civic next Saturday.
