LABOUR CONFERENCE WANTS PROSECUTIONS.
COAL MINE OWNERS AND MINISTERS ARE INCLUDED
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received February 11, 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, Febritary 11. The State Labour Party Conference passed a resolution practically amounting to a vote of no confidence in the Federal Government. The motion recommended the commandeering of the coal mines, disarming the police, prosecuting the coal mine owners and Cabinet Ministers, and paying the unemployed miners the basic wage. The aggregate meetings convened by the rank and file of the conference for to-day were abandoned owing to the decision of the Miners’ Federation to hold a meeting of representatives of all Northern lodges at Newcastle. This is regarded as a set-back for the South Maitland militants, and some lodges are expected to attempt to break away from the federation.
