MANY ATTEND FUNERAL OF LATE MR J. O’GRADY.

The funeral of the late Mr John O’Grady, of Ashburton, took place yesterday morning, leaving his late residence for the Church of the Holy Name where Requiem Mass was celebrated by the Rev Father G. o’Meegh:*n. The Rev Father O’Brien spoke of the es teem in which the deceased had been held by a large circle of friends. The pail-bearers were:—Messrs M., J., W. and T. O'Grady (sons of deceased). The chief mourners were*— Mrs John O’Grady, Mr P. O’Grady, of Springston .brother), Mr and Mrs J. M’Quilkin (son-in-law and daughter) and Mrs W. O’Grady, Winchmore (daughter-in-law).
