STATIONARY CAR WAS HIT BY ANOTHER
EVIDENCE GIVEN IN NAPIER INQUEST. Per Press Association. NAPIER, January 6. Mrs Catherine Brightwell, of Taumarunui, who was injured in a motor accident on the Turungakurui Hill on December 25, died in the Napier Hospital on Saturday. An inquest was opened to-day. The husband, in giving evidence, said that his car was stationary on a bend on the road when it was struck by a car coming downhill, with the result that it went over a bank.
