HINTS TO BATHERS.
(Written for the "Star" by “ Beltman.") High tides at the beaches tomorrow will be about 10 am. and 10.30 12,111., therefore the best times to bathe will be early in the moming or alter 4.30 p.m., although with the beaches in their present condition there should not be much risk even on an outgoing tide provided a little extra. care is taken. Experience shows that a. good proportion of the accidents occur just as the tide is on the turn, therefore none but strong swimmers should venture in during this period.
