MAN DRAGGED GUN THROUGH FENCE.
___.____. SHOT ENTERED HEAD. CAUSING DEATH. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, January 6. At an inquest concerning the death of John Pringle, who was found dead' on December 28 near a bridge over the Kaikorai stream, the evidence showed that deceased was dragging a gun through a fence when it exploded. The shot entered his thmat and came out of the ear. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
