CRANMER SQUARE CRICKET

To the Editor. Dear Sir, —This is the second attempt that “Safety First” has had of stopping our little bit of fun, in our few spare moments. Perhaps “Safety First” does not work all day like we have to. He might have money to join a club, and have time to enjoy a game, but we have to snatch half an hour here and there for our friendly game of cricket. “Safety First” is in error, for there are no babies on the damp grass at eight o’clock at night, or children, either. Besides, there are not more than ten boys play there. Perhaps “ Safety First ” is another kill-joy.—l am, etc., 44 ONE OF THE BOYS.”
