MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. DRUNKENNESS. For drunkenness, three statutory first offenders were each fined ss, in default twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. TWO CHARGES. Charles Weston, 62, was fined ss, in default twenty-four hours’ imprisonment, for drunkenness. For casting offensive matter in a public place, he was convicted and discharged. LYTTELTON. (Before Mr F. G. Norton, J.P.). Timothy Murray, a third offender, for drunkenness, was convicted and fined £l, in default twenty-four hours’ imprisonment.
