The Canterbury Automobile Association has received word from Greymouth, warning tourists to take every care of the rivers on the Coast, as the continued w r et and showery weather is keeping them very high. The message states that it is not advisable for motorists to travel by the short cut from Tophouse to Blenheim till the weather improves, as the Howard River is being very troublesome.
