SUNDIAL FOR POCKET DEVISED IN ENGLAND.

A waistcoat pocket sundial now being sold in Britain will tell the time within a few minutes at any place in the British Isles. It is contained in a small rectangular brass case. Inside the hinged lid is a list of the principal towns and cities, with their latitude, longitude, equation of time and variation of the compass. A folding stylus on the dial has three settings, for latitudes oldeg. 54deg and 57deg respect ivelv, and the time is read off one of three scales, which correspond with these latitudes.
