(United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 3. The police “pill box” or “kiosk” idea has been adopted with remarkable speed. For instance, 101 have already been established at Bradford, where formerly there were twelve sub-stations. The public have now been brought into closer touch with the police. The new system consists of the establishment of a number of special booths, somewhat siinilar to ordinary public telephone booths, that are in connection with the central police station, through which immediate assistance can be demanded.
