Mr E. J. Howard, M.P., recently approached the Postmaster-General on behalf of the Addington Burgesses’ Association, asking that a sub-post office should be established at the corner of Selwyn and Hamilton Streets. Mr Howard has been informed by the Postmaster-General that a telephone office is granted for that corner and it is to be designated “Addington South,’’ but the Minister states that in of the postal facilities already existing in the vicinity, it is not proposed to establish a post office.
