N.S.W. Athletes. SYDNEY, December 23. The New South Wales athletic team to compete in the Australian championships at Melbourne on January 25 and 27 has been announced as follows: J. Carlton, 100, 220 and 220 relay; G. Golding, 220, 440 and 440 relay; W. Hunt, 440, 880 and 880 relay; N. Saar, discus throw; E. J. Baker, 120 hurdles and hop, step and jump; C. Mahon, running high jump; F. O'Brien, 440, 440 hurdles and 220 relay; T. H. Daintry, one and three miles walks; C. D. Spicer, 120 hurdles and running high jump. The women representatives are:— C. Dahn, 100; C. Kennedy, 100 and 80 metres hurdles; R. Winter, 100, 80 metres hurdles and running high jump. If funds permit, W. Plummer, shot putt; C. Caldwell, javelin and high jump, will be added to the team. A. C. Heath and T. G. Melville will run a test race on January 11 to decide who will represent the State in the 880 relay.
