Quarter Finals. Malfroy (Wellington) beat Wilson (Wellington), 64), 6-2. Rhodes-Williams (Christchurch) beat Barkman (Wanganui), 6-1, 6-0. Angas (Christchurch) beat Larope (Wanganui), 6-4, 6-1. Charters (Whangarei) beat Stedman (Auckland), 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. Men’s Championship Doubles. Nicholson and Hubble (Auckland) beat Cox and Udy (Wanganui), 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. Combined Doubles. Stedman and Mrs Adams (Auckland) beat Hounsell and Miss Marshall (Wanganui), 6-4, 6-3. Rhodes-Williams and Miss Nicholls (Christchurch) beat Purcell and Miss Purcell (Wanganui), B*6, 6-1.
