PRINCE’S HUNTING TOUR TO CONTINUE.
AEROPLANE WILL BE USED OVER JUNGLE. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received January 3, 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, January 2. A new thrill awaits the Prince of Wales when he resumes his hunting trip in Africa, which was interrupted by the King’s illness. Aeroplane flights will be taken over the jungle in search of big game in Tanganyika, thus avoiding waste of time through motoring in the rainy season. The Prince of Wales insists that he shall be treated as an ordinary passenger on board ship, taking his meals in the saloon. While in South Africa as the guest of the Earl of Athlone, the Prince proposes to visit the districts where native disaffection has recently shown itself. While hunting he will use a special six-wheeled Wolseley saloon which was shipped for Africa yesterday. The Prince got a lioness on his last tour. This time he hopes to add a rhinoceros. He expects to to London at the end of April.
