SIR JOSEPH WARD RECEIVES GREETINGS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 3. Sir Joseph Ward has received from Lord Comrose, of London, hearty New Year greetings on behalf of “A distinguished gathering in Hyde Park for the inaugural recital of the Wellington War Memorial Carillon, temporarily erected through the courtesy of the society, your Government and the British Government.” Sir Joseph Ward has sent a suitable reply.
