Commenting on the gate figures in connection with the M.C.C. matches in Australia, Mr A. T. Donnelly, at the New Zealand Cricket Council Management Committee meeting last night, referred to the large amount paid in income tax. Out of a profit of £2OOO on the match at Sydney, the tax was between £4OO and £SOO.
