Regulations in order to give effect to the City Council’s decisions in reference to certain alterations in the time limit for parking vehicles in the traffic area, and to arrange for the control of traffic in the vicinity of the Post Office and Woodward’s Corner. Cathedral Square, were passed at last evening’s meeting of the City Council. With regard to the refusal of the Medical Officer of Health to recom mend the Board of Health to requisition the council to construct kerbir.g and channelling in Eastern and Western Terraces, the City Council Finance Committee has made a further request to the Medical Officer in accordance with the wishes of the council as expressed at its last meeting.
