FLOODS RECEDING IN THAMES VALLEY.
(United Press Assn.—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received December 17, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, December 16. Floods in the Thames Valley continue to recede rapidly. To-day a fall of over one fo'ot in the river during the last twenty-four hours has been recorded at Molessey Lock, and the rate of flow also shows a big reduction. High tid« passed this afternoon leaving a big margin of safety on the Thames Embankment, where flooding occurred last year.
