GREAT FLYING MEETING HELD AT KARACHI.
AIR-MINDEDNESS GROWS AMONG THE INDIANS.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received December 11, 11.30 a.m.) DELHI, December 10. The biggest flying meeting yet held in India occurred yesterday, under the auspices of the Karachi Aero Club, in co-operation with the Air Force and Imperial Airways. Throughout the afternoon, without intermission, aeroplanes were in the air carrying passen gers, hundreds of whom flew in the club’s Moth ’planes, as well as in Imperial Airways’ air liner City of Delhi. Cups and prizes were given away by the club to Hindu lady pilots, whose numbers testified to the growth of airmindedness among the Indians.
