AUSTRIANS DISCUSS BILL FOR 50 DAYS.

After fifty days’ discussion, a Bill reforming the Austrian Constitution passed its second and third readings in Parliament, ensuring political peace for Christmas. The Bill is so modified that the Socialists’ power in the Vienna City Council is practically undiminished, enabling control of expenditure. Dr Schober, the Chancellor, claims that neither of the rival organisations of Fascists or Socialists can claim a victory.
