FRENCH POLICE TO USE RADIO.
INAUGURATE NEW SYSTEM TO HELP IN CRIME DETECTION,
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received December 9, 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, December 8. The French police are inaugurating a remarkable wireless system with the object of keeping the Paris headquarters in rapid communication with the provinces. By wireless messages from the Eiffel Tower the police will be able to transmit descriptions of wanted criminals in code and also will be able to send photographs of finger prints by the wireless telephoto system. Fifty-one receiving stations will be established in the provinces in addition to important ■ • tions on the frontier and at ports.
