sion bt een his car and a tram, was fined £2o and his license was cancelled for a year by Mr E. C. Lewey, S.M., on a charge of being intoxicated in charge Of a car. On November 6, after a minor collision, it was found by a traffic officer that Mercer was again driving a car, Plough his license had been cancelled. “ He set the Court’s order at naught,” tid the chief traffic inspector, when ercer was charged before Mr E. C. lewey this morning with an endorsed {cense. Mr Stacey, who appeared for the defendant, said that Mercer’s license had jo endorsement on it when handed lack to him by the police. The defendant was fined 20s ar.d costs.
