CARNIVAL MEETING. It is to be regretted that North Beach turned down the proposal to co-operate with the north, south and centre for a combined gala effort. On Monday night it was decided to have a fireworks display and with music every evening the carnival should be one of the best yet held in New Brighton. The funds are to be allocated to each district and with the subsidy from the Government a good addition to the stone wall should be made.
