SYDNEY POLO TEAM EXPECTED TO VISIT N.Z. IN FEBRUARY.
It is expected that a polo team from Sydney will visit New Zealand in February. Arrangements are now being made, and if satisfactory to the visitors, matches will be played in Christchurch and Timaru. In the North Island the team will meet Hawke’s Bay, and later it will be at Feilding for the Saville Cup tournament. The team will include the wellknown Ross brothers, of Harden, and the Munro brothers, of Inverell. Two teams from Christchurch will take part in a tournament at Fareora at Christmas time. The newly-formed Mayfield Club will also be represented.
