GREAT NICOLA SEASON OPENS ON V/EDNESDAY AT NEW OPERA HOUSE.

Mystery and charm are the. impressive elements in Sir Benjamin and Mr John Fuller’s big attraction opening at the New Opera House next Wednesday eveninsr, when the Great Nicola and his famous company will introduce to theatregoers something entirely unusual. Those who attend will see a show that is claimed to be the finest of its kind, and which offers an mvsteries and illusions, magi • and tiansformations, all guided by’ the master-

hand of Nicola, and appearing- to defy all scientific and natural laws. Nicola is supported by a company of star artists and assistants and brings with him over fifty tons of gorgeous scenery and effects, which are all used for the staging of his wonderful show, which is presented in two huge acts and ten scenes. This extraordinary master of famous trick and a whole lot of his own creations, which are novel and mystifying. Magic of ancient Egypt, conjuring of mysterious China, famous mysteries from India, and witchcraft from the depth of Africa are interwoven io constitute part of the big programme which Nicola and his' talented company have to offer. It has taken years of travel and years of concentrated study to enable Nicola to wrest the secrets of the deceptions tliat were used to sway and dominate the natives in those faroff lands, and it has required skill and ability to reproduce these mysteries on the stage for the dele.ctation of theatre patrons.
