NEW OFFICIAL ASSIGNEE COMING TO CHRISTCHURCH.

(Special to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND, October 14. Mr James Hope Robertson, Official Assignee at Hamilton, has been promoted to the position of Official Assignee in Christchurch. Mr Robertson joined the Civil Service in 1911, and after filling positions in the Lands'and Survey Department in Auckland and Wellington, and afterwards at New Plymouth and Dunedin, as district accountant, he was appointed accountant in the Official Assignee’s office in Auckland in 1924. lie was afterwards chief clerk in the Auckland office, and in 1927, was appointed Official Assignee for Hamilton district. Mr A. W. Watters, at present Official Assignee in Christchurch, has received notice of his transfer to Auckland oh promotion.
