FOUR INDIANS DROWN IN BOMBAY SURF.

Three men and a woman were drowned while bathing at Juhu, a Bombay seaside resort. All the victims were prominent Parsees. The men lost their lives in an heroic attempt to save the woman, who was overwhelmed in a wave 50 feet from the shore. Her husband went to her rescue in response to her screams and reached hit wife, but both were carried away and the others were submerged while trying to regain the shore. When the mother of one of the victims appeared she attempted suicide by drowning.— Australian Press Association.
