LINWOOD BOWLING AND CROQUET CLUB.

Another of the series of invitation dances initiated by the relatives and friends of the members of the Linwood Bowling and Croquet Club took place on Thursday evening. The new social hall was comfortably packed. and the dance programme was carried along with rare animation and zest until the chimes which divide the night and morn. The lucky spot winners were Miss Gwen Williams and E. Smith, and F. C. Rainbow and Miss E. Keen were successful in the Monte Carlo. The music was supplied by Mr Bloggs, and extras by Misses D. Haworth, M. Gilbert and F. Wood were very much appreciated. Among those present were: Mesdames Kilner, Kellaway, Vincent, Butler and H. Cummins, Misses Eileen Kilner, Edna Fisher.
