MARION DAVIES IN “ THE PATSY,” SHOWING AT GRAND THEATRE.
Marion Davies,” in “ The Patsy,” has proved her right to stardom, and the title of the first comedienne of the screen. The picture will be presented at the Grand Theatre this week, and a distinguished cast supports the star. Jane Winton is Grace Harrington, the spoilt and detestable elder sister of Patsy, the Cinderella. Marie Dressier and Dell Henderson are Ma and Pa Harrington respectively, and the two young men. Billy and Tony, who cause all the havoc between Grace and Patricia, are played by Orville Cald-, well and Lawrence Gray. The second picture will be “ That Man Jack,” a thrilling and tense Western story with Bob Custer in the lead. The usual programme of gazettes, cartoons, newsreels and short comedies will complete this attractive bill. Box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where scats may be reserved.
