SOCIAL AT REDCLIFFS.

In the Redcliffs Community Ilall on Saturday evening, a highly successful social was held for the purpose of making a presentation to Mr E. P. Sandford. Mr Sandford has for some time guided the affairs of the Redcliffs School, and as a mark of esteem the members of past School Committees made him a presentation of a goldmounted fountain pen, suitably inscribed. The evening was devoted to cards and dancing, for which the music was supplied by Mr Athol Hunnibell. Songs by Mrs Maber, Misses Lucy Fullwood, Violet Collins, Dorothy Manhire, Mr W. Inkster, and a recitation by Miss Edna Le Page, were greatly appreciated.
