HEAD WINDS DELAY FRENCH AVIATORS.
(Received June 15, 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, June 14. A wireless message picked up at Bor- ' deaux from a steamer reported that the Yellow Bird was midway between the Azores and Portugal, meeting with head winds and slowing down. The pilot was worried because of the heavy consumption of petrol. He hoped that there would be sufficient to make Portugal.—Australian Press Association.
