MANY MORE BRITONS MAY ENTER U.S.A.
IMMIGRATION QUOTA ENLARGED AS RESULT OF SENATE DECISION.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 15, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 14. Nearly twice as many Britons yearly may enter the United States under the immigration quota after July 1. The Senate has refused to prevent the National Origins Clause in the Immigration Act of 1924, going into effect. The greatest changes will be in the quotas affecting Britain, Northern Ireland, German}- and Scandinavian countries.
