IMMIGRATION QUOTA ENLARGED AS RESULT OF SENATE DECISION.

Nearly twice as many Britons yearly may enter the United States under the immigration quota after July 1. The Senate has refused to prevent the National Origins Clause in the Immigration Act of 1924, going into effect. The greatest changes will be in the quotas affecting Britain, Northern Ireland, German}- and Scandinavian countries.
