At an early hour on May 1, eleven-year-old Ivy Healey was crowned, May Queen in the historic Browning Hall, Walworth, in the East End of London, with due pomp and ceremony. Hundreds were present at the annual 100-year-old ceremony, the little -queen and her floral-adorned attendants making a pretty picture.
