“LUCK OF THE NAVY” SCREENED AT STRAND.
The hew programme at the Strand - heatre is headed by “ The Luck of the .Navy,” starring Evelyn Laye and Henry Victor. This is a British screen testifixony to tho silent service. A brief episode of the Armada is included, while Nelson’s defeat of Napoleon’s project of invasion is also to be seen. Victor M’Laglen and Louise Brooks appear in “ A Girl in Every Port.” a highly humorous and entertaining story, which tells of the romantic adventures of a burly first mate, “ Spike Madden.” The supporting programme includes comedy, sporting and topical films.
