AEROPLANE LANDS AT LYALL BAY ’DROME.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 14. The first landing on the city aerodrome at Lyall Bay was made to-day, the machine being Messrs Goodwin and Chichester’s Avro-Avian, which came down from Levin piloted by Captain Hewett. lie considers that ■when the aerodrome is completed it would make an excellent landing ground for small ’planes in all winds.
