POPULAR TOM MIX IN THRILLING WESTERN AT STRAND THEATRE.
The new programme at the Strand Theatre is headed by “The Horseman of the Plains,” in which Tom Mix lias the principal role. Aside from the beautiful scenery, “The Horseman of the Plains” is described as one of the most gripping Westerns ever shown on the screen. The second picture 4 is “A Woman in Pawn,” featuring Gladys Jennings and John Stuart. The locale of the story is London, and advantage of this fact has been taken, with the result that gratifying glimpses of the city at its busiest appear in the picture. The supporting programme includes comedy, variety and topical films.
