THE CAPTAIN’S PAL. A hardy old salt is Captain C. B. Kenney. He has sailed the Ocean Main for many- a league, and now that his shipping days arc o’er he has still his old pal, Edgeworth, to comfort him. “1 have tried about all. the different brands of tobacco on the market," he writes, “and in. my estimation there is. no one make of tobacco that will compare with-Edgeworth for a good, cool long smoke. Sailors would come to me and say: ‘Captain, be sure to put in a good supply of Edgeworth when yon fill up the canteen,’ and that speaks for what the average sailor thinks of this tobacco.” 1
