RAILWAYMAN HAS FOOT CRUSHED AT MIDDLETON YARDS.
A young single man named J. N. Shatford, of 55. Lin wood Avenue, had his foot caught under a truck while he was working at the railway marshalling yards at Middleton last night. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital at 12.20 a.m. to-day. The accident hap pened at about midnight. Shatford's condition is reported to be satisfactory
