APPROVAL OF LOANS BY LOCAL BODIES.
Approval has been gazetted of the raising of the following local body loans:— Waimairi County Council, Fendalton Roading Loan, £29,475, for twelve 3'ears at £5 5s per cent. Ashburton Electric Power Board, special loan, £30,000, for twenty-six 3'ears, at £5 10s per cent. South Canterbury Electric Power Board, Waibaorunga Special Area loan, £19,300 for twenty-six \ r ears, at £5 10s per cent. Timaru Fire Board, redemption loan, £SOO, for five > f ears, at £5 10s per cent.
