LATE PERSONALS.
Mr W. C. Wylie, of Christchurch, has been awarded a Jacob Joseph Scholarship by the Victoria University College Council for research in company law. A Hamilton Press Association message says that Captain H. S. Fussell, late of the 111th Indian Regiment, formerly Assistant Treasurer to the British Administration in Palestine, was ordained a deacon by Bishop Cherrington yesterday, and appointed domestic chaplain. * Mr P. R. Tovev, principal assistant to the general manager of the Port of London Authority, paid a visit to Lyttelton this morning as the guest of the Lyttelton Harbour Board. He was shown round the harbour works and stores by the chairman of the Harbour Board, Mr R. Galbraith, the harbourmaster, Captain T. M. Hunter, and the secretary, Mr C. 11. Clibborn. Later Mr Tovey was taken in the tug Lyttelton for a trip round the harbour.
