CAR STALLED ON RAILWAY CROSSING.
(Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, December 24. A car driven by J. A. Grimwood, of Lower Hutt, stalled on the railway crossing north of the station on Saturday afternoon, and Mr Grimwood, who was alone, failed to get clear before a train ran into the car. Mr Grimwood received injuries to the back and a fractured leg. The car was badly damaged.
