LARGE AMOUNT RAISED FOR NAZARETH HOUSE.
A profit of £3302 is the result of the building fund effort in connection with Nazareth House. The balance-sheet was presented to a gathering held yesterday, when it was shown that the total proceeds were £3535 Is 7d and the expenses £233 lg 7d, leaving a credit balance of £3302. Gratification was expressed at the success of the effort by various speakers at yesterday’s function. The principal items on the receipts side of the balance-sheet were:— Nazareth House stall, £llOO 16s sd; St Mary’s stall, £547 2s 7d; Cashmere stall, £5lB 2s 6d;. Cathedral stall, £417 18s 4d; produce stall, £254 12s 2d; Addington stall. £252 19s; proceeds of art union, £257 16s.
