MODEL YACHTS RACE ON VICTORIA LAKE.
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the third and fourth heats for the president's prize, on Saturday, at Victoria Lake. The wind was Wjowin* strong from the north east, an ii nine boats competed under the supervision of Mr O. B. Ekensteen. Following: are the results:— Third Heat —W. J. Bowlker's Ruth <(3 mi n 20sec> 1, J. I- Ruxton’s Phyllis (3min 40sec) 2. A. Semmens's Dolphin (scr) 3, W. S. Kingston's Sans Atout (lmln 30sec) 4, K. iTodgre’s Kea (10see> 5. Time—33inin. Fourth Heat—Ruth 1, Phyllis 2. Sans Atout 3. S. W, Smith's Solomon (50sec) 4. Dolphin 5. Time—33min. A further two heats will be sailed next Saturday.
