SPREYDON TO HAVE NEW POST OFFICE.
Advice has been received by Mr E. -J. Howard, M.P., from the PostmasterGeneral, the Hon J. B. Donald, that a post and telegraph office will be opened in Simeon Street, Spreydon. The letter from Mr Donald stated: “In reference to your letter of the 12th inst., in support of a petition of the residents of Spreydon for the opening of a post and telegraph office in the locality, I have pleasure in informing you that authority has been given for offices as desired. The matter will be put in hand as early as possible.”
