NEW DIOCESE FOR THE MAORI RACE.
Per Press Association. GISBORNE, December 24. Holy Trinity Church was crowded last night with a combined Maori and Pakeha congregation at a service of thanksgiving in connection with the establishment of the new diocese for Maoris. The service was in both Maori and English. Bishop Bennett delivered an impressive address.
