CHILD INJURED WHEN LORRY HITS PUSHCHAIR.
PUSHCHAIR SMASHED. A child named Watson, whose parents reside in Falsgrave Street, sustained injuries to the face yesterday afternoon, when a pushchair was run into bv a motor-truck at the corner of Gloucester and Colombo Street-. The accident occurred at about 1 p.m Tlu pushchair was badlv smashed, but the child was thrown clear, and. alter receiving attention from Dr Averill. was taken home. The lorry, which was proceeding slowly over the crossing, is owned by Mr Milner, meat contractor, Sockburn, and was driven by R M’Grath
