Frocks valued £ISOO were exhibited in the Criminal Court, Melbourne, in a case against Mrs Elfreda Court, who was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for having stolen them from a city warehouse where she was employed as a saleswoman. Mrs Court said she had acquired 246 frocks for her wedding, but all had been bought from various sources and net stolen.—Australian Press Association.
