SITTING MEMBER READY TO DEFEND ACTION. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, December 20. The meeting of the Country Party was held at Ohaeawai this afternoon to
consider the position in regard to the Bay of Islands seat. A committee was appointed to deal with the situation arising out of a petition for another election, which it was Understood is to be lodged.
